News from the Bakehouse

Standard

Hello Herd!

I have some news to share with you…  Having been open for nearly three years, it’s time for this Moo to explore pastures new…  The Bakehouse is up for sale.

When I opened the doors, I had no idea how many customers we’d welcome into the Bakehouse (and how many of you would become friends). The last three years have been a real journey, but the Bakehouse has gone from strength to strength as word spread.

If you’ve been in recently, you’ll know how busy we are. And if you’ve popped your head into the kitchen, you’ll know just how hard we all work. However, you’ll also know how many problems I have had with my back – and it’s just too much to spend every waking moment wrestling with that and running a growing, successful, business at the same time.

I’d like to say THANK YOU to all of our customers for every cup of tea and milkshake drunk; for every sausage roll or lunchtime special enjoyed; and for everyone who took some adventurous trips into the world of vegetable cake!

If you’ve got a passion for great vegetarian and vegan food, and want to take over somewhere with a great reputation and wonderful customers, why don’t you speak to the Robert Luff team.  Who knows – maybe the next Moo could be you!

The Bakehouse is still open  – follow us on Twitter or Facebook for the latest news.  I don’t know if we’ll have a Mooving On party yet, but keep an eye on our social media feeds for updates as they happen.

See you in the Bakehouse soon I hope!

Gem x

Very very sad Gemma but totally understand. You are an absolute delight and it’s so good knowing we can eat in our little sanctuary without worrying what’s in our food. Wishing you all the luck in the world darling. Thank you for bringing veggie and vegan food to Worthing. The very best of luck in the future. Much love and see you soon. You’re a star X X X
